What are the living habits of brown bears?
Brown bear is a versatile animal, which can run, climb, swim and dig holes. It is one of the existing large carnivores. Although they often stand on their hind feet, they still land on all fours when walking. They can also jump, but their heavy bodies hinder the development of this ability. Brown bears are tall and strong mammals. Their eyes and ears are small, their eyesight and hearing are weak, but their sense of smell is very sensitive, so they mainly eat by smell. Brown bears live in relatively cold places and are covered with thick hair, which can resist the cold. Every year from June 10 to the following spring, brown bears hibernate in caves and occasionally go out to stretch when the sun is shining. In order to spend the long hibernation period, they have been hoarding fat from late summer to late autumn, so that they can use the stored energy to eat nothing all winter. Hibernation lasts for a long time, during which they often wake up.
