How important is mathematics enlightenment to children?
It's all the parents' fault that children are not good at math!

From birth to kindergarten, it is also the essence of preschool mathematics education to consciously guide children to the concept of mathematics and cultivate their mathematical thinking.

Next, what ways should children choose to guide their learning at different ages?

0 ~ 1 year

At this time, the baby has begun to have a basic impression of numbers. Please note that this is a response to numbers, not math.

In the meantime, parents can try to buy building blocks or toys with numbers for their children.

2 years old

At this stage, children understand mathematics more with the help of objects.

During this period, children will gradually feel the amount. For example, if you give a 2-year-old child candy and put different amounts of candy on both hands, the child will subconsciously choose the hand with more candy, which is also the derivative of mathematical ratio.

This is why I suggest that after 2 years old, parents can consciously borrow some physical objects, such as toys or candy, so that they can choose by comparing the number of items.

3 years old

According to scientific data, the human brain develops 60% before the age of 3 and 90% before the age of 9. The right brain develops before the age of 3, and the left brain develops from the age of 6.

But the right brain in adulthood is only a quarter of that of 3 years old! Therefore, preschool education is to seize this period and carry out early education scientifically.

In this period, the development of the right brain was not carried out through various math tests, but through letting children take two spoons and four napkins when eating, or there are several people at home now, to encourage children to actively use their brains.

4 years old

At this stage, children will not only use numbers to understand mathematics, but also begin to understand shapes, distinguish the difference between circles and squares, and even look for curves and figures according to the pictures of circles.

For children at this stage, classification is a remarkable progress. No matter according to the shape of objects, round objects such as glass balls, rubber balls and balloons are classified, or according to the number of objects, two cars and three plush toys are found.

5 years old

Five-year-old children, their world will gradually change from a flat world to a three-dimensional, and they will understand that the original castle made of building blocks looks different directly. On the contrary, look sideways and look down. It is a very good way to understand solid geometry through building blocks.

It is more effective for children to build a small building by themselves and take their parents to observe from different angles and understand the meaning of geometry than to recite it with books.

6 years old

Basically, from the age of 6, children will have a stronger understanding of mathematical addition and subtraction. Maybe they found that their father was gone when they were eating, and the original three people became two people.

Maybe there are guests at home today, and three people will become five. This is actually a variation of addition and subtraction. Parents don't need to teach by themselves, children can observe by themselves.

Early education needs step by step. When children reach the right age, parents should learn to guide them in the right way. It's definitely not good to encourage them.
