But who knows that on the first day of studying with the new coach, the coach raised a lot of questions about my swimming posture. Why can't my body stand upright and keep parallel to the water? What arm and leg movements are not up to standard? Wait a minute. It seems that I really need to learn the basic movements of swimming: closing, turning, kicking and clamping. In addition, I also want to let go of my smug heart and face this new training with a peaceful mind.
The training started, and the coach taught me the shallow pool breaststroke. First of all, I floated on the water, slowly floated up, buried my head in the water, looked at the bottom of the pool and corrected my upright body. Then, keep your arms close to your ears and straighten forward, palms facing each other, and turn your hands outward, and then put your arms back on your chest to correct your arm movements: then the coach taught me leg movements such as closing your legs, turning around, kicking your legs and pinching your legs. Later, we changed to training in deep water. After two days of strict training and teaching by the coach, I studied and practiced seriously. Finally, the coach asked me to do a few moves together. On the third day, the coach said, "Your movements are very accurate. Keep practicing breaststroke in the future."
During the summer vacation, just in time for the 20 12 London Olympic Games, I especially like watching swimming and diving events. Ye, Sun Yang and other Olympic athletes have achieved good results, but there are also many difficulties and hardships, as well as many failures and setbacks. They didn't stop, only worked hard and paid, so they won the honor. Now the coach began to teach me freestyle. The coach said that I have endurance, but I am not explosive enough, and that I have the conditions to learn butterfly stroke. I believe in myself and I believe that I will succeed as long as I work hard. Because "hard work pays off"!
