If children's graffiti can be timely understood and actively guided by parents or teachers, it will stimulate their interest, and children's painting enlightenment will begin here. Parents generally don't pay attention to their children's graffiti and think it's a prank and stop it. This hinders the normal development of young children. Because children can gradually coordinate the activities of hands, eyes and brain through graffiti and exercise hand muscles. They unconsciously enjoy the rhythmic pleasure of scribbling on paper, gradually control the strength of their hands, learn to use a light, heavy and rotating pen, and gradually develop from unconscious graffiti to graffiti painting to express their ideas. This is an achievement and a record of children's healthy physical and mental growth.
2. Several regular stages of children's painting growth.
1. Graffiti period (1 -3 years old) painting from aimless to purposeful, with no specific image.
Children doodle 1-3 years old. Because of their growth, each child's graffiti development is fast and slow, and the development of graffiti is slightly different, but they all develop along the same track. This period can be roughly divided into the following stages.
Indifferent graffiti: messy lines drawn on paper due to uncoordinated movements, and sometimes lines are drawn outside the paper.
B. control graffiti: at this time, the movements are more controllable, and the hands and eyes are gradually coordinated. Children can draw straight lines on the paper.
This painting is one that I remember deeply. I remember that my son has been drawing long lines and circles connected by lines, which can be said to be arbitrary, but this time he suddenly drew a controlled short line. I am curious to ask my son what he painted. He replied that I am a hedgehog, but it is strange that we have never touched hedgehogs. Later, he pulled me to a plant and pointed to the prickly branch and said "Hedgehog". At this moment, I suddenly realized that I immediately recognized and affirmed his paintings and encouraged my son's unique perspective in time. My son smiled at me happily. I thought I had planted a seed of hope. My son was 2 years old and 7 months old.
C. circular graffiti: a circle repeated on paper.
This painting is about my son's recent infatuation with snails. On rainy mornings, we went to look for snails, observed snails and came back to collect books about snails. He was very interested, so although he couldn't express himself, he kept drawing circles with his childish little hands, and finally named him snail. His son was 2 years old and 6 months old.
D. Name graffiti: At this stage, although the child has not been able to draw a specific image, it is obvious that he wants to show something. He mumbles or makes an expression while painting, explaining what he wants to draw.
This painting is the work of my son, who is 2 years old 1 1 month. The above story is already very rich. At that time, my family, my aunt, my husband and my son were all interested in fish, so my son drew several circles. My son said it was a fish tank. There were aunt fish, father fish, mother fish and baby fish in the fish tank.
2. Symbolic period (also called symbolic period) 3-5 years old to create symbolic symbols according to memory. For example, children always like to use circles, squares and triangles that they can distinguish and use to illustrate their drawings, houses, animals and plants. In fact, children's painting characteristics at this stage reflect children's cognitive process, which is a manifestation of symbolic wisdom in development.
