Xiamen Business Tourism School is a newly established technical secondary school in 2008.

After several years of preparation, Xiamen Business School, Xiamen Tourism Vocational Secondary School and Xiamen Communications Vocational Secondary School jointly established Xiamen Business Tourism School.
The school is located in Jimei Cultural and Educational Zone, adjacent to Xiamen Institute of Technology and Xiamen Huaxia Vocational College. Xiamen Commercial School is a national key technical secondary school, founded in 1964, and the only full-time financial technical secondary school in Xiamen Special Economic Zone. Xiamen Tourism Vocational Secondary School is the first batch of national key schools, with an early history, which can be traced back to 1898. Xiamen Communications Vocational Secondary School is a provincial key vocational school, which was founded in 1983. In 2002, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, a five-year diploma course in higher vocational education was jointly held with Jimei University, Fujian Communications Vocational and Technical College and Xiamen Ocean Vocational and Technical College, offering four majors: automobile maintenance and testing technology, international shipping enterprise management, modern logistics management and marine ship driving. In 2003, it was identified by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Communications, China Automobile Industry Association and China Automobile Maintenance Industry Association as a training school for training skilled talents in the field of automobile operation and maintenance. The three schools have accumulated a lot of manpower and material resources for Xiamen Industrial and Commercial Tourism School and provided rich teaching experience and management experience.
