One of the biggest bottlenecks in the promotion of operating system lies in the construction of application ecology. Therefore, he took the lead in defining a brand-new mobile Widget application system, developing cross-terminal platform middleware, and realizing the application of "developing once and running everywhere" by shielding the differences of operating systems. He believes that the large-scale commercialization of 5G technology will promote the continuous evolution of voice communication, and the future of multimedia communication is high-definition, intelligent, polymorphic and ubiquitous.
Presided over the research and development of multi-mode terminal intelligent communication system, defined minimalist signaling protocol, compatible with IMS/VoLTE, and adopted flat architecture, which has the advantages of high quality, low cost, high efficiency and full coverage. Under his leadership, the team began to develop dual-channel live broadcast technology based on BGP, drawing lessons from the on-call design idea in the field of cloud computing. Detect the network of users and devices through edge BGP lines, dynamically switch forwarding and P2P channels in real time, and automatically reduce the bit rate to ensure smoothness in weak networks, so that the success rate of live broadcast of security products is increased from 85% to 99.95%, and the stuck rate is lower than 1%, reaching the leading level in the industry and effectively ensuring the user experience.
At the same time, Cheng Baoping took the lead in completing the formulation of relevant international standards such as Multimedia Communication System Requirements Based on Smart Speakers, Home Monitoring System Requirements and Access Protocol in ITU, and actively promoted the formulation of enterprise standards, line standards and international standards for technologies in the fields of multi-mode terminal intelligent communication and home security video surveillance.
