Why should I read the Book of Changes first?
Different people have different views on the order of reading. Some people read the classics of Saint Amethyst, some people refer to the suggestions of Saint Amethyst, some people recommend reading The Analects of Confucius, some people suggest reading Disciples Rules first, and some even advocate reading The Book of Changes first. Personally, I agree with the first choice of the Book of Changes. Tell me my humble opinion. Please correct me in time if there is anything wrong. Now, let's analyze it. We always talk about standing on the shoulders of giants. If you stand on the shoulders of giants and look far, you can also see another layer. What do we see? You can also see what the saints are reading! "interacting with classics and walking with saints" is a shortcut for us to learn, grow and improve today. So what is a classic? I'll send it again now. It's a comment: The classic is an original classic that is deeply rooted in people's hearts, has far-reaching influence, never devalues and is immortal for thousands of years. It is the best, most essence and most valuable model work of Chinese culture. The two most famous saints in China are both famous saints in the Spring and Autumn Period. It should be clear to everyone that they are Laozi and Confucius. Let's think about it. Tao Te Ching and The Analects of Confucius were written by Laozi and Confucius respectively. So what books have the two sages read? In the present words, what is their road to success? Let's stand on the shoulders of Laozi and Confucius and see what books they like best. What books have the greatest influence on them? For example, the philosophical origin of Laozi's Tao Te Ching and the exposition of Tao in Yijing and Zhouyi's condensed biography are: "Therefore, it is easy to have Tai Chi, which is the birth of two instruments. Two instruments give birth to four elephants, and four elephants give birth to gossip. " "One yin and one yang is the Tao". In Laozi's Tao Te Ching, we can see that "Tao gives birth to one, two, three and everything. Everything is negative and holds yang, thinking that it is harmonious. " (Chapter 42 of Laozi) Based on the philosophical viewpoint of Yijing, Laozi established his brand-new world view with poetic philosophical language. When Confucius made a copula for the Book of Changes, he wrote: "Confucius said that the Book of Changes is wonderful! Husband "Yi" is a saint, so he worships virtue and has a wide career. Knowing courtesy is humble, heaven is humble, law is humble, and heaven and earth are set up, which is easy to be among them. Natural existence is the door of morality, which shows the position of Zhouyi in Confucius' mind. Li Ming also said: "Confucius' life was actually gradually developed under the influence of the Book of Changes. The most obvious are the six life fragments described by Confucius, the six classics and six latitudes compiled by Confucius, and the six arts mastered by Confucius. Everything is related to' six', which is obviously related to the six hexagrams in the sixty-four hexagrams of Zhouyi. "Historical Records Confucius Family" cloud: Confucius is happy in the evening, with different order, department, image, divination and classical Chinese. Three musts of reading Yi and Li. Said, "Leave me for a few years. If so, I will be soft and easy. " Even after reading these, Confucius said modestly, "If I were allowed to live a few more years, I would fully master the text and quality of the Book of Changes." We always think that the doctrine of the mean is the thought of Confucius, but it is actually the thought of the Book of Changes. The thought of the Book of Changes in Laozi's Tao Te Ching appeared in a dialectical way. Although it is different from the golden mean, it has the same meaning as the golden mean. In Tao Te Ching, for example, "Everyone knows that beauty is beauty and evil is evil." Everyone knows that good is good, and bad is bad. "Sentences can be said to be everywhere. Confucius said that "going too far is not enough" is actually the same reason. Laozi's philosophy seeks peace, but seeks refuge; Confucius' philosophy strives for movement, but stands firm. On the contrary, it is actually the other side of Tao. Not only Confucius and Laozi praised the Book of Changes, but also the Book of Changes was a must-read for kings of all ages. The Book of Changes was left by Qin Shihuang, who burned books to bury Confucianism. Let's see why the Book of Changes has become a classic. Let's count how many saints collectively wrote it: First, it was written by Fu, not Shennong in Fu; Then it was written by Yao, Shun, Yu and Huangdi. Finally, it took Confucius three great times to complete it, from ancient times to medieval times and then to modern times. Is this classic created collectively by sages the first of its kind? ! I ching is a masterpiece of natural science. In ancient times, there were sayings that "if you don't learn, you won't do it" and "if you don't learn, you won't be treated". Take a closer look. Chairman Mao studied the Book of Changes thoroughly, so he wrote the famous On Contradiction. Chairman Mao combined with the practice of the China Revolution, and put forward important thoughts on the transformation of principal contradiction and non-principal contradiction, principal and non-principal aspects of principal contradiction-this is the main idea of Mao Zedong's later On Contradictions. Lonely yin is not born, lonely yang is not long, and contradictions are all the time. This unity of opposites in the theory of contradiction is exactly the same as Tai Chi Yin and Yang in the Book of Changes. In the taiji diagram of the Book of Changes, there are two fish of Yin and Yang in a whole-Taiji. A white spot on the black fish head symbolizes a little mandarin duck in the shade; There is a black spot on the head of the white fish, indicating that Yang is true Yin. This philosophical concept of the rise and fall of Yin and Yang is the same as the thought of the transformation of principal contradiction and non-principal contradiction, principal aspect and non-principal aspect. Now for children to read classics, we have a * * * knowledge in children's classic education, that is, "vegetarian reading". For children, the difficulty of reading any classic is the same. The difference lies in whether the child's pronunciation organs are perfect and whether he can speak long sentences. It is not difficult to read the Book of Changes with the existing phonetic textbooks. Now many parents read the Book of Changes to their children. As can be seen from the feedback from parents, children prefer the Book of Changes. Now let's stand on the shoulders of giants and see what books giants love to read and which works have a far-reaching impact on saints! The sage told us what to read without words. Then follow the guidance of the sages and let the children take off from a high starting point! We also let children read the Book of Changes! Many words in the Book of Changes have become the current idioms, such as "carrying things with morality" and "striving for self-improvement". Baidu can see it at a glance, there are hundreds, so I won't write it here. We often say to trace the source, then we go upstream along the long river of classics, looking for the source, and we are surprised to find that the original source of classics is the Book of Changes, and there is a saying that the Book of Changes is the source of classics. Under the influence of Yijing, many works such as Tao Te Ching and Huangdi Neijing are inseparable from Yijing. Everyone knows that computers were invented by foreigners, but I don't know if you know that the binary algebra of modern computer science originated from the Yin and Yang of China Yijing Bagua. An Italian missionary published a book "Archaeology of China" in German, which introduced the evolution of the Book of Changes and Taiji Bagua in detail. Leibniz, a German mathematician, philosopher and natural scientist, realized this in his study of the Book of Changes. The Tao Te Ching has a great influence on our descendants, as well as foreigners: Germany has produced a group of greatest scientists since World War II, and many of them have read the Tao Te Ching; Qi, a respected Japanese early education expert, also said: Japanese education literally means teaching children to read China classics. We are all learning from Confucius. Whether in the Book of Changes or The Analects of Confucius, Confucius tells us about his admiration and love for the Book of Changes. So, should we read the books praised by Confucius? Let children learn classics, that is, "vegetarian reading"-it is meaningless to read only the original text. Let children be familiar with it and even recite it, remember it firmly, and let the seeds of classics take root, grow, sprout and become talents in children's hearts! After reading the Book of Changes, children will read other classics or follow the three-line reading method of cumulative education, and then join other classics to read at the same time, and they will find that many thoughts, theories or quoted sentences come from the Book of Changes.
