But such "good intentions" may damage the foundation for children to grow sturdily.
From my personal point of view, children's pre-school thinking mode is undoubtedly very important, but such skills can never be cultivated through training.
A common phenomenon is that the more unreliable the training institution is, the bigger it is, and the easier it is to fool parents. But our parents often don't understand the educational logic behind them, so they are easily deceived.
So, what is the so-called thinking training class on the market?
"Advanced degree" or "advanced injury", should the so-called thinking training class be reported?
To illustrate with my personal example, I also took my son to a training class similar to Baihua Academy. Once inside, they will give my son a test first, such as this question:
Nine children are in the first row, and one of them is in the seventh row. If the countdown, which one is he?
The son did this, counting from the back to the front, snapping his fingers: 9, 8, 7, third from the bottom! The result is simple, and my son is confident.
But at this time, the teacher of the institution tells you that although this problem has been worked out, it is not a correct "logical algorithm", because if 99 children line up in a row and this child ranks 77th, you can't just snap your fingers and work it out. The teacher then brainwashed us, saying that the real logical thinking is to master the law of "using 9 MINUS 7 plus 1 getting 3". Only by mastering this law can we do every problem well and cultivate logical thinking.
Many parents deeply agree, yes! Children can do math problems and improve their ability, but this is just logic training!
No, and I made a big taboo in the study! In fact, children's real way of thinking is to try again and again, make mistakes again and again, and let themselves grow up step by step. If we tell children the answers and logic directly, quickly and rudely, it may destroy their own way of thinking and their ability to explore logic. The so-called "thinking training" is nonsense.
In the results of my long-term research, it is clearly told us that if we continue to treat children with this way of thinking training, the result will on the one hand suppress their self-confidence;
On the other hand, once a child finds that there is no need to explore the law at all, the answer can be placed directly in front of him, then he will inevitably lose the desire and ability to explore and learn.
We often say that education cannot be fast. Education means giving children time to wait for flowers to bloom. But think about it, since the training company has received your money, how can you wait for the flowers to bloom? In order to let parents feel their children's gains after each class, they will force their children to remember in a very utilitarian and efficient way, which is precisely the biggest harm to our children!
In Japan, higher education is no longer the mainstream.
Let's go back to the Baihua School incident. Since it is under the banner of Japanese cooperation, how do you view similar higher education in Japan?
In fact, in the early Japanese education, they also experienced such a chicken blood era, and they also embarked on the road we are taking today. However, due to Japan's early economic development, it soon realized the problem.
Especially after entering the 2 1 century, the whole Japanese education has undergone earth-shaking changes, and Japanese education and training institutions are constantly advocating that children explore laws and learn knowledge by themselves. In recent years, Japan's good social development is closely related to its own educational reform.
Therefore, the chicken blood education called "thinking training" like Baihua Society is no longer the mainstream of society in Japan. However, we are keen to teach children thinking training in a spoon-feeding way, which is just another way and topic.
Think about it. Pretty scary. Although the training on the market is covered with sugar, it is actually a poison pill. If the child eats it, the side effects will not appear immediately, but it will deeply poison the child's future growth. Such consequences must remind parents not to be confused by such consumption.
When children grow up, they need to be given enough exploration process.
There are also many parents who report their children's education problems, especially when facing preschool education or training institutions. So how should we treat this anxiety?
First, we need to analyze where the anxiety comes from.
According to my observation, parents' anxiety comes from two aspects: on the one hand, while doing a lot of publicity, commercial organizations also transmit a lot of false information to you. For example, they tell you how to get into primary school. But in fact, the real primary school exam will not take these tests. The contents of exams in several good schools I know are very active, and they are not cultivated by the so-called training courses at all. And many excellent schools don't like the children from the training class.
We surveyed 40,000 families across the country, and the conclusion may surprise you. In our investigation, we found that all the children who have taken subject courses in kindergarten (that is, learning in advance and the content of classes remains the same) often have a decline in their grades in the third grade, and the decline in junior high school directly becomes Waterloo!
What is the reason? It is actually a very simple logic system.
Children aim at the subject in advance, so they can't form the habit of absorbing knowledge when they formally attend classes at school. Either you understand or you don't listen, or you show off your new knowledge in advance.
In the long run, because the child has not developed the habit of absorbing knowledge, the small class teaching in the off-campus training class is more fun than that designed by the school, and the initial advanced education can make him maintain relatively excellent grades from senior one to senior three. However, once he has passed the third grade, his daily class is far more than two days of training, which will inevitably lead to the first decline in his grades.
What will parents do at this time? It is a vicious circle to rush to make up lessons for him. By the time the children get to junior high school, the training class is already overcrowded. After all, it will take him two days to finish his studies and make up for five days of school classes. However, the amount of study in junior high school is too large, and how to make up lessons will naturally lead to a sharp decline in grades.
The education department emphasizes "learning" rather than "learning".
On the other hand, our parents' anxiety comes from the policies of the education department. In recent years, the education department has issued many policies to restrict these "hundred flowers blossom" training courses in the market, which makes many parents feel puzzled and even more anxious. You see, it is obvious that other children are making progress. If you don't make up lessons for your children, what will you compare with others next semester?
In fact, the education department has repeatedly issued these instructions, not to consider the urgent needs of parents, but to tell our parents that education itself is regular. If you are too eager to study in advance, it will hurt your children's future growth. Therefore, it hopes that we can wait for a period of time to ensure that children have the ability to grow up independently and to cultivate their desire to explore learning methods.
Therefore, I agree with these policies issued by the Education Bureau. In fact, the Education Bureau decides the future. The Education Bureau repeatedly issued these instructions not to consider the needs of parents, but to tell parents that education itself is regular and you are too anxious. Learning ahead of time will damage your child's interest in the future, so you must wait, let your child have the ability to grow, and let him explore learning methods.
