The contents of these two picture books are everyday, but Lin is best at depicting simple contents with delicate brushstrokes. Reading picture books has many opportunities for children to understand and feel her mood from the protagonist's point of view. These are good reading materials to cultivate children's emotional ability.
? First, "Sister is in hospital"
1. The cover and title page mainly focus on general observation. I just appropriately reminded the children of the doll that appeared twice, because it is a key message of this book.
2. Hui found that the doll was missing. From Hui's tone and expression, let the children feel Hui's mood at the moment: What do you think of Hui's mood at the moment? (unhappy)
3. Guide the children to observe the appearance of their sister Cai Xiao, and then ask: Cai Xiao is ill. How would you feel if you were Hui? Child: I think I went too far just now and shouldn't scold my sister.
4. How did Hui feel when she heard that her sister was going to have an operation?
Child A: If I were Hui, I would be very sad if I knew my sister was going to have an operation.
Child B: Hui is worried.
Child C: I think Hui's heart is pounding.
5. Yang Yang is leaving. What is Hui thinking at this time? Child A: I don't want her to go because I'm afraid it's dangerous for her to go back. (from a friend's point of view)
Child B: I don't want her to go, and I don't want to be at home alone. (from one's own point of view)
6. Children observe and ask: What's the weather like? What's in the quilt? Why is Hui hiding in the quilt?
Child: Thunder and thunder. Hui is in the quilt, little face. Hui is afraid.
7. How did Hui feel after answering the phone?
Child: Hui is very happy.
8. If you were Hui, what gift would you like to give your sister?
Children A: I'll give my sister a doll. The recurring dolls gave a hint. )
Children's Class B: I will give my sister fun toys, flowers, greetings ... (screen tips and my favorite items)
9. Hui went to see her sister. Why is her face a little thin? Young children: It hurts to have an operation.
10. How did my sister Cai Xiao feel when she received the gift? What is Hui's mood?
Child: Very happy.
1 1. How does Ah Hui feel when mom praises her sister?
Child a: very happy.
Baby B: I'm a little embarrassed.
12. Finally, I read the letter from my sister to my sister to the children.
Second, "Hui and Sister"
1. Guess the relationship between the two children from the cover.
With the previous sister's hospitalization experience, children can easily guess that the two children are sisters.
2. The first few pages are all observation and telling until my sister disappears:
(1) If you were Hui, how would you feel at this moment?
(2) Where do you think my sister went?
(3) What will you do at this time?
(1) Child A: I will be very worried.
Child B: Hui's heart is pounding. (reappearing "Bang Bang")
(2) Go to the park, go to the bank to find my mother, and go home.
(3) Call the police, stay where you are, go home and shout.
3.P 14 observation picture q: does hui run fast or slow? how do you know
With the cyclist's first shopping experience, children can find Hui's fluttering hair and skirt at a glance.
4. Observe the big page of P 18. The children say that this picture is very similar to the big page of the first shopping. Previous experience has been mobilized again.
6.P22-24, guess: Who is here? If you were Hui, what would you do if you found your sister led by a tall strange man? The picture only depicts the man's body, leaving more room for children to daydream. )
Child A: I'll call the police right away.
Child B: But we don't have a phone. I'll run home and call.
Child C: Maybe the tall man mistook Cai Xiao. I'll tell him it's my sister
7.P28: How does Hui feel when she sees her sister?
Child a: very happy.
Baby B: My heart finally stopped beating.
Postscript of teaching:
In the process of reading the picture book, two scenes left a deep impression on me: the first scene was when I learned that my sister was in hospital, and I made the children feel Ah Hui's mood. One child replied, "If I were Ah Hui, I would be very sad if I knew that my sister was going to have surgery." Her answer reminded me, so much so that my next way of asking questions was changed to "If you are Hui …" so that children can substitute themselves into picture books, stories and characters. In the second scene, when we saw Cai Xiao's gift to my sister in hospital, the children spontaneously discussed it warmly and loudly: I want to give it to my sister/brother ... especially those children from the second-child family, who make the most noise.
It is not easy to cultivate emotional ability, and preaching is definitely ineffective. Thanks to the carrier of picture books, children's emotional ability is cultivated in the process of reading.
