Don Lu Zhao Lin

W ǔ yá pá n shí, qn füI dòng qóng làng ng. Minutes, minutes, minutes, minutes. Dancing solo on the rock, flying lightly in groups. I grew up on white clouds in front of the green beach.

Wave-washing birds cling to rocks when flying alone, and gently shake the waves when flying in groups. Strive to fly fast in front of the green sand, and always have the ambition to go straight into the sky.

Appreciation: This poem depicts the image of a bird bathing in the waves, flying forward and soaring into the sky without fear of the wind and waves. The poet used birds as a metaphor to express his lofty aspirations and lofty sentiments on the white clouds.

Lu is a native of Fanyang (now Zhuozhou, Hebei Province) in Youzhou, and he, Yang Jiong, are also called "four outstanding men in the early Tang Dynasty". Lu was probably born in the eighth year of Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan (634). The country experienced the development in the early Tang Dynasty, with a growing national strength and a new atmosphere. Chang 'an, the vicissitudes of ancient capital, is turning a new page on the basis of the prosperity of the Sui Dynasty.

Chongwen recorded ten volumes of Lu Ji and ten volumes of Solitary Ji. I lost it. The Sorrow Subset compiled by Zhang Xie in Ming Dynasty is Lu's earliest collection of poems. "All Tang Poems" consists of 2 volumes.
