What religion is Bonism?
Bonism is the first local religion in Tibet. Later, after Buddhism spread in Tibet, stupid education gradually withdrew from the mainstream. There is no difference in Buddhist teachings between the pre-flood period and the post-flood period in Tibet. It's just that tantric inheritance is different. According to legend, there were three people who first introduced Tantric Buddhism to Tubo, namely Du Guanyu, Sheng and Wu Zhiyou. The first two are the direct disciples of the auspicious lion, and the last one is the second disciple. When they preached in Tubo, Han Zen was also introduced into Tubo, which had great advantages. Therefore, among the tantric sects circulating in the pre-flood period, Zen had a deep influence, and the modern Italian scholar Du Qi also thought that the two might come down in one continuous line. After Buddhism was banned in Rhondama in the 9th century, Bonism prevailed and Buddhism could not exist openly. However, tantric Buddhism still has to be handed down from generation to generation in the family, so it interacts with this religion, so it is obviously different from tantric Buddhism spread by various new schools in the late Hong Dynasty in content and form. This sect was scattered in the early period of the late Hong Dynasty, and there were no fixed monasteries and strict Sangha organizations. It was not until 1 1 century that "Sansuer" appeared that a sect similar to other sects was formed.
