This week, I learned about the evaluation of growth quotient of infants aged 0-6, understood the significance of growth quotient evaluation and early education, mastered the basic methods of evaluation, and obtained a set of systematic tools on how to carry out evaluation activities. Next, I will sum up my week's study from the following aspects:

First, the importance of early education

With the improvement of living standards, people's cognitive level and attention to education, early education is paid more and more attention by young parents. There are many schools of thought about early education, such as the well-known Montessori education, but no matter which school, they are actually expounding the fact: the importance and necessity of early education. First of all, 0-3 years old is the fastest stage of children's brain development. Under normal circumstances, the weight of a child's brain will increase from 1/4 at birth to 4/5 at the age of three. Secondly, 0-6 years old is the sensitive period of children's growth and development (also known as the critical period) and the formation period of sensory integration, and children's motor ability (big movements and small movements), language ability, social ability and adaptability develop very rapidly at this stage; Third, before the age of 0-6, children are mainly input-absorbed mental models and are very sensitive to external perception. The more external stimuli, the faster they develop; Fourth, children aged 0-6 mainly imitate. In a family, whoever has the highest educational level is the most suitable person to take care of children; Fifth, children's memory is characterized by image memory dominated by the right brain, so children need more experience.

Second, about the evaluation of developers.

Developer evaluation is a set of theoretical evaluation tools based on children's physical and psychological development characteristics at different months, including evaluation tools, evaluation forms and evaluators. Through the evaluation results of children, children's development can be evaluated, and targeted intervention can effectively promote children's development and growth, which is also in line with the educational principle of respecting children's individuality and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Through research, it is found that the evaluation of children's developmental quotient can not only find out the problem of children's developmental retardation in time, but also find out the place where children are superior to ordinary people. Through effective stimulation, they can help children develop their superior abilities. Therefore, they especially agree with Teacher Jiang that the earlier special children intervene, the better, and the earlier healthy children are educated, the better.

Third, the basic knowledge of developer evaluation

1. The evaluation of child development quotient needs to be conducted in a qualified early education center or child care institution, and the evaluation of children must also be conducted by a professional appraiser who has obtained qualification certification.

2. The evaluation of children's development quotient mainly focuses on five dimensions: fine movements, language skills, adaptability, social skills and big movements;

3. Child development quotient evaluation: 1 children under one year old are tested once a month 1 times, 1-3 years old children are tested once every three months 1 times, and 3-6 years old children are tested once every six months;

4. For children in different months, the contents of the five abilities are not consistent, so the evaluator is required to measure the month forward and backward based on the actual month, so as to get a more objective score, and finally give a comprehensive report on the development of children according to the evaluation score and performance;

5. The score of children's developer evaluation is not the result and ultimate goal of evaluation. The developer's evaluation mainly finds out the problems and difficulties encountered in children's development through evaluation, and lets parents train their children purposefully through professional suggestions to ensure their healthy growth and not miss the critical period of physical and mental development. As parents, you should know that you can try anything, except Godson. Never leave regrets when it comes to educating children.

6. The evaluation of child development quotient will use related evaluation tools, which may be the same as children's toys, but we need to know that these tools are only a carrier of evaluation. 1. Questions about language retardation

Although the conditions and environment for raising children are far better than before, the reality is that most children have encountered the problem of language retardation. Maybe many old people or parents will say, it's nothing, the children will grow up. What many parents don't understand is that children's language retardation will have a certain impact on brain development and psychology. Then what causes more and more children's language development retardation? Excluding congenital physiological factors, such as hearing, vocal cord development, tongue tip development, etc., there are several other important reasons: 1) Children stop crying quickly, or children drink bottle milk, or children eat too little complementary food, which will reduce the training of oral muscles and the improvement of vital capacity; 2) Lack of peer environment, most families are children now, and children lack the object of language imitation and communication; 3) Needs are easily met, and children's language is based on expressing needs. When the child has not expressed his needs, his fingers are already very satisfied, and the child lacks the opportunity to express. To sum up, it is not difficult to find out the countermeasures and precautions for raising children.

2. About sensory integration (concentration and attention)

Sensory integration refers to the neuropsychological process that the brain selects, interprets, connects and unifies the information input by individuals through different sensory channels such as hearing, vision, touch, smell and vestibule, and is the basis for individuals to carry out their daily work, life and study. In short, comparing people to computers, the mouse and keyboard are the paths of sensory input, the host is the brain, and the brain integrates information and outputs it to the display, which is the reaction of people to the outside world. 0-7 years old is an important stage in the formation of children's sensory integration. Children's sensory integration disorder will be manifested as hyperactivity, autism, stuttering, audio-visual impairment, physical imbalance, indifference, social barriers and other States. The sooner you get involved, the better chance you have to adapt to the problem of perception.

3. About caesarean section and natural delivery

The popular explanation is that natural delivery is a child who knocks at the door, and caesarean section is a child who breaks the door. A natural child is born naturally by squeezing the birth canal through contractions, constantly stimulating the child through contractions and pushing his head in the direction of the birth canal. The child's skin is squeezed, and the touch and vestibule are well stimulated, which is beneficial to the development of touch and vestibule. Touch is a particularly important sensory input, and it is the door to emotional intelligence. Vestibular perception is also very important, and it is the door to the brain. Therefore, compared with the children who are suddenly taken out from the mother by caesarean section, the children born naturally have advantages in the establishment of security, the development of touch and vestibular sense, and vital capacity. Even so, it doesn't mean that the baby who gave birth naturally must be better than the baby who gave birth by caesarean section, which is also closely related to the situation that the baby was taken care of later. If the baby is over-protected, over-committed, and related abilities are not exercised in the later period, problems may arise.

That's what I learned this week. Although I missed my daughter's precious key growth period of 0-3 years old, it is not too late to learn now.
