Technical essentials of fast jump
The key points of the fast long jump technique are as follows:

First of all, run-up:

(1) Determine the take-off leg and swing leg first. The starting posture of run-up is generally standing. If the take-off leg stands behind the starting line and the swing leg takes the first step, the run-up times are even. If the swinging leg stands behind the starting line, the take-off leg takes the first step and the number of run-ups is odd.

(2) Determine the number of steps. Generally speaking, girls choose 14- 16 and boys choose 18-20.

(3) Determine the measurement method and marking. Generally, there are two measurement methods: walking measurement (run-up times multiplied by 2-2= steps to be taken) and running measurement (backward running measurement, forward running measurement and two-person mutual assistance measurement).

There are usually two signs. The first sign is set at the starting point of the run-up and the second sign is set at the 6-step landing behind the springboard. After measuring the starting point, let the students try running again and again to determine the more stable and accurate run-up distance, steps, rhythm and run-up point, so as to ensure that the students' run-up speed is fast, the run-up rhythm is good and the pedals are accurate and powerful.

Second, take off:

(1) Stand back and forth with two feet and do one-step take-off exercise in situ.

(2) The practice of taking off one step in a row during marching.

(3) Run three or five steps in a row and take off into a "flying step" during the journey.

(4)6-step run-up, that is, take off on the springboard (or take off in the take-off area), and then fall into the bunker with a flying step.

(5)6-step run-up: After taking off on the springboard (or in the take-off area), both feet fall into the bunker.

(6) Six-step run-up: After taking off on the ground (or taking off in a reduced take-off area), both feet fall into the bunker.
