DSD(DirectStreamDigital) technology, also known as "direct digital streaming", was jointly developed by Philips and Sony. The sampling frequency is 64 times higher than that of ordinary CD, and the dynamic range is extended to 5 times that of ordinary CD, which greatly exceeds all the audio formats at present and reproduces the original sound of the scene most truly.
