Doug Wiedman, a famous American bowling coach, is a member of the American Bowling Association (ABC). Weidemann has 28 years of bowling experience. In 2002, he was qualified as a second-class coach of the Youth Olympic Games, a bronze coach of the American national team in 2004 and a silver coach of the American bowling team in August 2005. Weidemann's team has won three joint championships and one runner-up. In May 2004, Weidemann became the coach of Purdue University's school team and a member of American College Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA). Under the leadership of Weidemann, Purdue University Bowling Team has become one of the best university teams in the United States.
