1. Wenling City, a county-level city in Zhejiang Province, is managed by Taizhou City. In the fifth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1469), Taiping County was established, and in the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was renamed Wenling County. 1March, 1994, with the approval of the State Council, the county was withdrawn and a city was established, which was called Wenling City.

2. Wenling belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, and the influence of maritime climate is obvious. The general characteristics are mild climate, four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall and suitable illumination. The "four mountains, one water and five fields" in the whole territory is the location of the famous Huangwen Plain, known as the "land of plenty" and "shrimp kingdom".
