The project is adjacent to Nanhai Wetland Scenic Area in the east and Yellow River Wetland in the south. Nanhai Wetland Scenic Area is located on the north bank of the Yellow River, which is the second bend of the Jiuqu Yellow River in Baotou. Donghe District, with well-developed transportation, has many transportation functions such as highway, railway, aviation and water transportation, and is an important transportation hub connecting the mainland and the northwest region. Baotou East Station, China Civil Aviation Baotou Station, Yellow River Shipping Company and Baotou Long-distance Bus Station are all located in this area. The project is about 17KM away from Baotou City, 3KM away from Baotou Airport, 5KM away from Baotou East Station and 6KM away from Wanshuiquan South Station.

The scope of this planning and design covers the fourth phase of land use. The land area is 39.98 hm2. The base is connected to Baoyi Highway in the north, the completed sports residential area in the east, the ring road in the south and Erdao Shahe in the west.
