Maoming Moral Education School offered courses such as housekeeping, queue training, live-fire shooting, military knowledge and life knowledge in accordance with the requirements of the Military Training Program for Senior Middle Schools during the one-week military training for senior one students. The school has carefully organized and arranged students' military training, and the teaching and training has achieved the expected purpose and achieved good results. Through military training, students have mastered some basic military knowledge and skills, enhanced their sense of collective honor and patriotism, exercised their strong will, and developed a hard-working quality and a good discipline style.

The school offers "three defenses", "environmental protection", "legal education" and "anti-drug education" among second-year students. Through instructors' lectures, watching videos and simulating field practice, students learned the basic protection knowledge of nuclear weapons, chemical weapons and biological weapons. At the same time, the school organizes each student to personally make simple anti-virus equipment, conduct simulated comprehensive drills, and organize each student's exams. Through study and practice, students know how to use terrain for protection, how to pass through toxic areas and polluted areas, and how to eliminate pollution.

In the comprehensive practice of primary school students, the school has set up courses such as self-care ability training, fire fighting knowledge, traffic safety knowledge, housekeeping knowledge, drug control knowledge, legal education, environmental education, model airplane and so on. Through the study, students have learned the basic knowledge of fire fighting, housekeeping and traffic safety, mastered the basic skills of fire fighting and housekeeping, learned some skills of disaster prevention and relief, broadened their scientific horizons, improved their ability to live independently, enhanced their awareness of law, environmental protection, drug control and safety, cultivated the quality of hard work, and enhanced their willpower and discipline.
