Because kindergartens in China are non-compulsory education, they are divided into government agencies, institutions, collectives, private enterprises and other forms. The education level of kindergartens is quite different, so children's sports in different regions and schools are also very different.
The development of children's sports in first-and second-tier cities, Zhejiang and other regions is relatively mature. The development of children's sports in these areas benefits from better economic ability, mature sports environment, better parenting concept and other influencing factors. At present, in these areas, in addition to all kinds of kindergartens with sports characteristics, there are also a number of institutions focusing on children's early sports education. As a regional model for the development of children's sports in China, children's sports in Zhejiang Province have a wide coverage, high participation and great influence, especially sports events. 20 19 The model performance contest of the 12th Children's Games in Zhejiang Province attracted more than 200 kindergarten friends from all over the country, setting a new record. There are more than 20 sports events in Zhejiang Province every year. Up to now, Zhejiang Children's Games has attracted more than 2,000 kindergartens and 10 million children.
According to the investigation report of relevant institutions, 89.34% of the parents interviewed are willing to enroll their children in sports training programs. The research results of Hao Xiaocen, a professor at Capital Institute of Physical Education, show that in early childhood, 50% of the social training courses selected by parents for their children are sports activities. Among them, 10 is the most popular event, which is mountain climbing, jumping, swimming, ice hockey, scooter, running, basketball, volleyball, mountain climbing and throwing.
At present, children's sports products on the market are mainly composed of educational growth, sporting goods and health care. Children's growth education products are the most abundant, including sports training courses, sports events, sports halls, experience halls, early education halls, parent-child camps and children's sports study tours. In the market of children's sporting goods, toys and equipment are more popular, followed by clothes and books. Children's health care products are in the initial stage of development, especially the products of low-collar children, which are mixed with the maternal and child market and have not received enough attention, so there is a great room for future development.
Second, the current problems in the development of children's sports in China
Our country's preschool physical education teachers are trained by preschool normal colleges. In the curriculum system of preschool teacher training, physical education only appears as a public course. After analyzing the training programs of several schools, it is found that more attention is paid to intellectual education and art education in the training of kindergarten teachers. So now many teachers can teach Chinese and art, but not necessarily PE.
At present, the number of public kindergartens in China is relatively small (about one-fifth of the total number of kindergartens), and the number of private kindergartens is relatively large. However, no matter whether it is public or private, most kindergartens have no qualified teachers to teach physical education. Nowadays, kindergarten teachers generally reflect that they want to undertake physical education class teaching, because students like it very much, but they just don't know how to get to physical education class, and they think they lack physical education knowledge and skills. At present, many kindergartens employ part-time professional PE teachers. Although physical education graduates know physical education, they lack knowledge of preschool education, and are difficult to be competent in physical education for young children, so they need training urgently.
At present, kindergartens with good conditions have set up sports characteristic courses, such as football, basketball, happy gymnastics and roller skating. However, most kindergartens have a small space for sports activities, a small number and types of sports equipment, and unreasonable configuration. Although some kindergartens allocate equipment according to their limited space, they do not consider what equipment can help children develop in an all-round and balanced way.
At present, although most kindergartens offer courses with sports characteristics, there is a general lack of standards in the allocation of kindergarten stadiums and equipment, children's sports teaching standards and teaching materials, children's sports skills learning standards, children's sports teaching guidelines, children's sports teaching evaluation standards, children's sports activities guidelines and so on. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out a series of research in this field.
