Hippo is the heaviest artiodactyl, weighing about 3 tons, with a body length of 4 meters and a shoulder height of about 1.5 meters. In contrast, rhinoceros is 2-4m long and weighs between1000-3600kg. So hippos are heavier than rhinos. Hippos are huge, with short limbs and a huge mouth. It lives in the water during the day and comes out for food at night. It is gentle, but sometimes it fights.
