The cool scenery in Lu You's poems did not take place in Jinan, but the blue tube drink mentioned in it was almost a necessary drink for Jinan literati in summer at that time.
Duan, a writer in the late Tang Dynasty, introduced the Bitong drink in Jinan in his book Youyang Miscellaneous Wine and Food: "There are stones in the north of Licheng, and Wei Zhengzhong is in the middle of the dog days, so every guest can escape the summer here.
