In 588 AD, the Sui Dynasty destroyed Chen, and Emperor Wendi of Sui ordered "leveling Jiankang City and cultivating it". For a time, the luxurious palaces of the Six Dynasties were destroyed, and the prosperity of Wuyi Lane was gone, just like the water of the Yangtze River.
