What should I do if the sprinkler tank leaks?
When we found that the sprinkler tank was leaking, we didn't need to repair it in a hurry. The leakage of the water tank will not lead to serious failure or consequences of the sprinkler. After the operation of the sprinkler is completed, we can drive the sprinkler to the vehicle maintenance or professional welding repair shop, and ask for repair according to the following steps.

1. First, it is necessary to polish off the paint and weld at the leaking position, so as to leak carbon steel and weld.

2. DC or AC manual welder can be used for welding, and 2.5 or 3.2 ordinary covered electrode welding can be used for covered electrode.

3. After welding, fill the sprinkler with water and let it stand for one day to check whether there is leakage in the weld.

4. After the weld is confirmed to be welded, it should be handed over to the paint shop for touch-up, which needs to be constructed according to strict primer and topcoat technology, otherwise the weld position of the tank body is prone to rust.

The following are the common treatment methods for tank leakage errors for users' reference:

1, plugging with sealant; At that time, the sealant might be blocked, but when the sprinkler was parked in the open air, the tank changed greatly due to the sun and rain. After a few days, the sealant may not be able to seal the weld, resulting in water leakage again. In addition, the sealant is stuck in the crack at the leaking position of the tank, which may lead to slag inclusion during welding and lead to poor welding.

2. Welding with water in the water tank; If there is water in the spray tank and the temperature of the welding pool is not enough, it will lead to poor welding and may lead to more welding and more cracks.
