Why are there fewer and fewer children in Cantonese?
Children at home have been teaching to speak Cantonese. They will go to kindergarten next year, and no one will take them at home. So they reported an early education first, so that they could practice Mandarin communication in advance, because most teachers and children in the school will be Mandarin in the future. Children are very interested in Mandarin. When they came home, they also told us how to speak Mandarin. Many people say that children refuse to speak Cantonese when they go to kindergarten, and so do we. But I believe that Cantonese will not be lost because it is Cantonese in novels, and our family communication will basically adhere to Cantonese.
