Aaron copland Conservatory of Music (ACSM) is located in Flushing, New York. The Conservatory of Music is a part of Queen's College and the main institution of higher learning of City University of new york.
ACSM offers three different types of music undergraduate degrees; General Music (BA), Performance (BA) and Music Education (BA/Pedagogy). The newly renovated music building of the college provides a warm atrium for students. All the practice rooms have Steinway pianos, a music library with more than 35,000 music scores, 30,000 books and 20,000 records, and the Lefrak Concert Hall which won the prize for its sound effects and Maynard Walker Memorial Organ. ACSM holds more than 300 concerts every year, including recitals, orchestras, choirs, ensembles, new music, early concerts and opera works.
ACSM provides first-class courses, famous teachers and extraordinary facilities, but the tuition is very affordable (at present, the full-time undergraduate tuition in the state is $565,438 +030, plus the annual study fee. )/zd/lx
