I am Chinese-American, and I have four children. Three of them studied mental arithmetic in Lezhizhou Education. At first, I wanted to help children improve their computing ability through learning. Later, I found that mental arithmetic is actually more about cultivating children's ability. The eldest son studied, and the second son didn't study because of his tight schoolwork. By observing them, I found that when the two children were the same age, the eldest son spent more time reading, kept his attention longer and recited things quickly. The reason for choosing Happy Boat Education is that there can be one-on-one teaching here, so that children can learn efficiently, and teachers can arrange the progress according to their own conditions, so that children will have the awareness of independent learning. Besides, the teachers here are very responsible. After each class, they explained to me in detail the difficulties and progress that the children are currently encountering, so that I can better understand the children. Because I have many children, I can observe the differences between children of the same age and feel the help of mental arithmetic to children's ability. I hope other parents can feel it too.
