Is early education useful for children with poor language skills?
Your worry is not superfluous at all. Boys are less glib than girls, which is the innate disadvantage of most boys at some stage. This is not a defect of boys, but is determined by different stages of growth and development. Only by understanding the development characteristics of boys can we give correct education.

Understand the shortcomings of language organization ability

The slow development of boys' language organization ability is determined by their growth and development characteristics. As we know, language organization and expressive ability are closely related to learning, which has a great influence on some Chinese subjects. However, this does not mean that boys always lag behind girls in language expression, because at a certain age, boys' language level will develop. By that time, boys who already have the advantage of logical analysis can be said to be even more powerful. But this requires a very important condition, that is, we should not look down on boys because of their poor language ability, but should encourage their advantages and prevent them from lacking confidence in themselves.

British researchers studied 3000 pairs of twins, and the results showed that when boys were two years old, they knew an average of 44 words, while girls knew 52. Researchers read the report at the International Baby Research Conference in Brighton. They believe that the language development of boys and girls is different because the genes of the two sexes have different hormonal effects.

Therefore, after children go to school, we should ignore the gap between boys and girls in language ability. We should try our best to help them with their learning difficulties or setbacks, instead of comparing them with other children.

The Supervision Office of Pixian Education Bureau conducted a sample survey on the academic performance of boys and girls in five primary and secondary schools, and distributed questionnaires to Pixian Unity School, Sandaoyan School, Zhuwa Primary School, Pixian Experimental School and Yang Min Experimental Foreign Language School, with 200 copies distributed to each school. According to the survey data of five schools, in the primary school stage, the ratio of boys and girls with excellent Chinese and math scores is 4:6, and more boys and girls fail. Among them, the differences between male and female students in Chinese subjects are particularly prominent. Take Zhuwa Primary School in Pixian County as an example. Among junior three students, the excellent rate of boys' Chinese achievement is 45%, and that of girls is 55%. By the sixth grade, the excellent rate of girls reached 7 1%, more than twice that of boys. There is no obvious difference in math scores.

This survey data shows that in primary school, boys' semantic scores will temporarily lag behind girls'. It is not terrible to fall behind temporarily, because when boys really grow up, they have enough stamina and opportunities to take off. The terrible thing is that we lose confidence in our children because we see their poor grades, which greatly blows their enthusiasm for learning. In this way, before the child really grows up, the child loses interest in learning and has no confidence to continue learning. This is how the idea of "not as good as girls" came into being.

In the face of the situation that boys develop later than girls, if we are prepared, can face up to the fact that boys are "temporarily behind girls", can firmly believe that "boys must be no worse than girls" and "boys must have a broader sky", and then find a road suitable for their children's long-term development, then boys will certainly be able to usher in their own spring in their studies.
