I remember when I was practicing speed reading, the teacher specially arranged for us to turn pages. A book, like Water Margin, I spent a semester in high school. But that was after school. I think it takes at least an hour to scan the title of a book without reading it. I don't know if I can finish it. If a person's speed reading level is one page per second (that is, one page), we can usually keep up with the speed of turning pages, but if we read a book (that is, two pages) or even three pages per second, our speed of turning pages will be greatly reduced, which will affect our speed reading efficiency, so we can spend some time practicing turning pages. This is necessary. There are two important points here, which must be remembered. First, when you practice turning pages, you must read the title of each article clearly before turning pages. Second, you can only turn one page at a time.
Third, practice reading by listening and reading, and it is most important to keep your eyes on the book. This method is the fastest and most effective for beginners to read fast. In Xi 'an, there are many speed reading classes. They like to practice speed reading by listening and reading, that is, dividing the audio of books into several stages, namely, ordinary fast, slightly fast, extremely fast and express. In this way, let students practice reading in other people's voices, although it is easy to master the essentials of speed. It can also improve one's skills of fast reading and shorthand. However, this practice also has its shortcomings, that is, people are easily tired, or discouraged because they can't keep up with pronunciation, and even people can't find where to read. Therefore, in this exercise, the most important thing is to persevere and step by step. Don't turn your voice to the fastest at the beginning, but walk steadily step by step. From slow to fast. But don't always stop at the level of speed practice. These exercises are practiced separately. The third one is very effective for beginners. But it's not needed after it starts. But we should not underestimate the rules of any practice, which will become an obstacle to our study. Only by understanding the rules can we tap the potential of speed reading and shorthand.
