According to the resolution of WDSF annual meeting and some national competition rules of all WDSF member countries, the dress code is applicable to all WDSF named events, unless WDSF member countries consider additional dress codes based on their own countries in WDSF unnamed events. The WDSF Presidium has the right to impose general or special dress restrictions, and has the right to modify or waive certain dress restrictions for special events.
(1) general rules
1. Clothing must conform to the styles and characteristics of various dance departments (Latin dance and standard dance).
2. Clothing must cover the private parts of the dancer's body (including private parts), and the underwear shall not use flesh color.
3. The age and dancing level of dancers must be considered in costume and makeup.
4. Jewelry with religious symbols and decorations is not allowed. (excluding personalized jewelry).
If the decoration or jewelry is dangerous to the dancers and other contestants, the referee has the right to ask the contestants to take off the jewelry or change their clothes.
6. Dancers can wear clothes required by lower age groups.
Additional notes:
Any act that violates the provisions of independent inventions such as clothing fabrics, colors and styles, even if it does not violate the wording of the clothing regulations, can be regarded as a clothing violation as long as the referee determines that it violates the rules.
For women:
Boxer pants and flesh-colored pants are not allowed. The chest must be completely covered, and the distance between the two cups of the bra should not be less than 5 cm.
SA- the minimum size of the clothing area: the body area that must be covered. Any color including transparent fabric can be used in this area.
Basic fabric: clothing fabric that can clearly produce shape. Fabric with glitter effect: including metal, glitter and sequins. Fabric without flash effect: basic fabric with general properties.
Ornament: any ornament that can be fixed to basic materials, hair and skin. Ornaments with flashing effect: such as rhinestones, bright diamonds, sequins, jewelry, pearls and other items that can shine and flash. No flash effect: such as feathers, flowers, hairpins, stripes, lace, ribbons, etc. There are also some accessories, such as tie clips, buttons, cuff links, belt buckles and other clothing necessities, which are not accessories.
HL- gluteal line: The lowest horizontal straight line at the top of underwear is based on the premise that the top between two gluteal muscles (including gluteal sulcus line) cannot be seen.
PL- Pant line: the maximum height of the rear view at the bottom of underwear: the buttocks should be completely covered. Front view: The bend between thigh and body (groin) must be covered. The length from the top line to the bottom line of underwear: it must be more than 5 cm from the side. The jacket of men's trousers must be openable, and the opening must be in the middle of the belt buckle or the top line of trousers. Must be able to separate from the coat.
Flesh color: equivalent to the dancer's skin color (including the instant skin color after dyeing).
Long sleeves: to the wrist, sleeves are not allowed to roll up.
Make-up: including face make-up, artificial brown oil coloring, fake nails and false eyelashes.
Decorative jewelry: refers to articles (such as rhinestones and sequins). ) is designed to blend in with clothes. Personal ornaments such as necklaces, rings and bracelets are not included.
Attachment: CDSF specially stipulates that the ladies' clothing of mass array Latin dance is not allowed to be separated up and down, and the waist and abdomen must be completely covered.
(2) Detailed rules of each group

Dance shoes: socks: tights: high heels: up to 2.5 cm. Black socks must be worn. Heel: Square heel, heel height not exceeding 3.5 cm. White hemmed socks are allowed. Only flesh-colored socks are allowed. Mesh socks are not allowed.
Hairstyle: If the hair is too long, it must be tied in a ponytail. No decoration or colored hair gel is allowed on the head.

Skirt:
Simple or pleated styles only allow a skirt with at least three semicircles and a simple circular petticoat. The size of petticoat shall not be larger than that of dancing skirt. Bone line, cartilage line or fishing line are not allowed for frilly decoration of skirts or petticoats. The minimum length of skirt should not be shorter than above the knee 10 cm, and the maximum length should not be longer than below the knee. Incision is allowed, other types are not allowed.
Juvenile group I: 12~ 13 years old. That is, grade a or grade b of juvenile I in CDSF group (Grade A or B can be issued according to the actual situation)
