Whether a baby is healthy or not, height is one of the important measures. So mommy should pay close attention to the baby's height change. Generally speaking, there are the following factors that affect the baby's height change:
1, genetic
The characteristics, potentials, trends and limits of the baby's growth and development are all influenced by the genetic factors of both parents. Generally speaking, if the parents are tall, the children will be tall. In terms of gender, boys are generally higher than girls.
2. Nutrition
Nutrition is very important for height. Scientific feeding and reasonable diet are the important material basis to ensure the normal growth and development of infants. If there is insufficient nutrition, the baby's height will not change. In the long run, it will directly affect the health of the body, such as immune function, endocrine function and neuromodulation function. As a reminder, the younger the baby, the greater the impact of nutrition.
3. Disease
This effect is obvious. If the baby encounters an acute infection, the weight will not increase or decrease; Chronic infection will affect the growth of weight and height. Endocrine diseases (such as hypothyroidism) have a more prominent impact on growth and development, which often leads to delayed bone growth and nervous system development. Congenital diseases (such as congenital stupidity) will have a great impact on the baby's physical development and intellectual development.
Step 4 exercise
The baby's growth and development are closely related to exercise. Height is mainly related to osteochondral growth. Proper exercise can accelerate the blood circulation of the whole body, promote metabolism, make the bone cartilage get sufficient nutrition and grow vigorously, which will lead to accelerated bone growth and the height of the child will naturally grow taller. For example, running, playing ball, horizontal bar hanging, swimming and so on. As a reminder, try not to do weight-bearing exercise.
Step 5 sleep
Growth hormone secreted by pituitary gland is an important hormone for infant growth. Generally speaking, the amount of secretion during sleep is higher than that during waking. If the baby doesn't get enough sleep, it will affect his height development.
