Scream (Norwegian: Skrik? ), or translated as Scream, is the work of Norwegian painter edvard munch 1893. This painting is a famous work by Expressionism painting.

Some people think that this work embodies the artistic conception that modern people are troubled by existential anxiety. The red background originated from the eruption of Krakato volcano in Indonesia in 1883, and the volcanic ash dyed the sky red. The location in the painting is the Oslo Fjord overlooking Mount Ekberg.

This work * * * has four editions, namely, the edition of the Monk Museum in Oslo (83.5 x 66 cm), the edition of the National Gallery (9 1 x 73.5 cm), another edition of the Monk Museum, and the collection edition of Peter Olson. 1895, the painter printed his works in print and copied them in batches. From 1994, it was stolen twice, but fortunately, it was recovered.
