Making early literacy cards for babies
Literacy cards should be legible, bright, neat and slightly larger. You can write in different colors. Depending on the age of the child. The length of the training period and different usage methods can be made into the following different word cards:

1, hanging card: write with a piece of paper more than 6 cm square and stick it on the wall, blackboard, doors and windows. And change it every few days. After the children recognize them, they will concentrate them in another place and organize them into short sentences for easy identification and consolidation.

2. Pocket card: written on both sides with 1~2 cm square hard paper block. Parents should always carry some in their pockets. When you go shopping with your child, go to the park, take a walk, visit relatives or queue up to buy things, spend a minute or so to encourage him to concentrate on recognizing a few words. At this time, the pocket card is a game tool, because children's play itself needs a combination of static and dynamic. When you get home, you can also let your child find the corresponding big characters and "move and read".

3. Game-style word cards: Write on both sides with beautiful wooden blocks or 4-5 cm square thick paper blocks to teach children to read words (the words on both sides should be related, or similar words, or antonyms, or two words of a word). When a child knows a toy, give him one. You can play a game of "see who can find it quickly", for example, when mom says a word, dad and children will find it together to see who can find it first. You can also play a spelling game, for example, a short sentence, so that children can find the corresponding word and spell it together. If a word is dropped while playing, parents can ask, "What word is dropped? Pick it up! " You can also carve and color the building blocks that children play with. This word has become the name of different building blocks, and you can recognize it when you play.

4. Play word cards: Parents carry a few blank pocket cards with them. When they are with their children, they find that they are extremely interested in something. At this time, they can ask their children: What do these words look like? Take out the blank pocket card and write it to the child at once. For example, when a mother bathes her daughter, there are many bubbles in the basin. The mother can ask the child what this is. And immediately write down the words "water bubble" for the children to see. For a long time, children will take the initiative to find adults to write for them when they encounter novel things.

5. radical character card: the characters on the card are written in two colors, the radical is written in the most vivid color, and the parts other than the radical are written in black. In this way, you can read and teach root names, and soon children will be able to master root analysis glyphs.

6. Sentence card: Write good sentences that children can listen and speak, such as "The baby is really beautiful", "Smart and loves to learn", "Chicks and Chicks come to eat rice" and "Astro Boy in the Monkey King". And write them into long cards and stick them on the wall, sing while reading, stick one sentence a day and finally connect them into a poem.

7. Story card: Children like to listen to stories best. Word cards related to stories can be made in advance. When telling a story, you can read a few word cards and paste a few word cards for a story. For example, if you tell a folk story about a woman who cried over the Great Wall, you can display the words "woman who cried over the Great Wall" in the first paragraph and "Great Wall" in the second paragraph ... After a story is finished, you can often know more than a dozen words!

None of the above literacy cards should have pictures, let alone pictures and fonts at the same time. Because two kinds of stimuli appear at the same time, it is bound to distract children's attention, and because children are used to the shape of things at birth, but not to the shape of words (special things), their attention will inevitably be taken away by the shape of things (pictures), which is easy to form "reading pictures" instead of "reading words", which is extremely unfavorable to literacy. The designer's subjective desire to read pictures is to let children know the meaning of words by looking at pictures. In fact, children are self-taught in obedience, speech, life and reading. Is it important for babies to grasp one of the crystallization of human civilization in time during the literacy period (that is, the impressional memory before the age of three and the period when they have no choice to explore)? Words, let children master an important key to early wisdom!

Teaching window literacy is generally carried out in a fixed room and location, and playing "one-on-one" literacy games. Because only when adults and children are together can children calm down, concentrate and obey orders.

When parents make literacy cards, they are also in a "one-on-one" peaceful and quiet environment. Let the children quietly watch their parents make and write cards, and they will speak softly and use their brains. They can also ask children to help paste words. In this way, sometimes when the card is finished, these words have long been known and children can understand them.
