Drum music is a narrative folk art accompanied by bamboo drums and bamboo chips. It uses a one-foot-two-inch-long bamboo tube covered with frog skin or lard and fixed into a drum with a circular bamboo hoop. The singer put the drum under his arm, tapped the drum surface with his right hand, and accompanied him with a bamboo piece about three inches long and one and a half inches wide in his left hand. Drum music, led by a guide, wandered and sang along the way. It plays an important role in folk tradition, telling stories and conveying emotions through music and singing.
