Observation location: graffiti area
Observation object: Children who are partially active in the graffiti area.
Recording teacher: Ying Yuxin, Class 4, Middle School.
Observation record:
It's the first time that the children of Class 4 in technical secondary school come to the outdoor graffiti area, with few tools and limited materials. Children are curious about everything and seldom brush it. We make full use of limited materials to create infinite possibilities. Some children use leaves as color palettes and draw with their fingers. Some children take brushes for the first time. They line up to get paints. Some doodle on small bicycles, while others doodle on trees. Teachers take care of them and discuss with children. Through this graffiti activity, observe whether children are willing to share and exchange their favorite works of art and creative experience with others.
? In the graffiti area, I found that I couldn't understand what they were drawing, especially when they were using strokes. At first, painting was only composed of points and lines, which were not on the same plane and could not form a painting, but they also took pains to create with pigments. In the other corner, several children were drawing on the machine with pens with the prepared paints. There are several other people on it. The child's mind is jumping.
Teacher's thinking: Faced with an unexplored field, children can use limited resources to create their own works, not only by using paint fingers to point on leaves, but also by rubbing them with leaves. These are all independently developed by children without guidance. This shows that children have a new world of their own in their hearts, and their ideas are strange, but they can create infinite possibilities. Although they are new students and come to the graffiti area for the first time, their performances are very developed.
