Teaching process:

1. Let the children observe the chrysanthemums, bunches of red flowers and cockscomb flowers placed in the activity room, and tell their companions the shapes and colors of these flowers, where they have seen them, what kind of flowers they like best and why.

Secondly, on the basis of children's experience, teachers guide them to name three kinds of flowers correctly, and observe and distinguish the main characteristics of the three kinds of flowers together with children, such as flowers and leaves with different shapes, such as cockscomb, curly chrysanthemum, a bunch of candied red flowers and so on.

Third, let children observe the production materials, and teachers and children discuss how to use them together. For example, crumpled paper can be torn, cut, twisted and painted, and it can also be pasted with wool to make various flowers. The teacher will focus on demonstrating the method of making chrysanthemums with orange peel.

Fourth, children can freely choose materials to make with the accompaniment of background music, or they can do it together. Teachers should guide children to make chrysanthemums of various colors, and pay attention to the scattered levels of petals when helping children paste them. Children should judge which paper to stick according to the shape of the painted leaves.

5. Show children's works. After the activity, ask children to evaluate themselves and talk about their feelings. Unfinished works can be carried out in regional activities.
