School profile, Longnan Normal University:

Longnan Teachers College was established in April 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. On the basis of the merger of Chengxian Normal School and Lixian Normal School into Longnan Normal School, it was established as a full-time normal college. The former Chengxian Teachers College was founded in 1937, and the Principle County Teachers College was founded in 1973. In April of 20001year, two normal schools merged to form Longnan Normal School. In April 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Longnan Teachers College was upgraded to Longnan Teachers College. 20 13 Longnan Agricultural School and Chengxian Vocational Secondary School were merged into Longnan Teachers College.
