History of Hebei North University
Before the merger, the predecessor of Zhangjiakou Medical College was the Hebei Branch of Bethune School in Jinchaji Military Region, which was founded by the Ministry of Health of Hebei-Shanxi Military Region in September 1945. The address was Tianzikou Village, Fuping County, Hebei Province.

1948 in March, it was renamed as the Medical Training Team of Beiyue Military Region of China People's Liberation Army, under the Ministry of Health of Beiyue Military Region, and moved to Beitun Village, Laiyuan County in the same year.

1April, 1949, it merged with the medical training team of the Ministry of Health of the Jizecha Military Region (it entered Zhangjiakou at the beginning of 1949) to form the third branch of North China Medical University, which was under the leadership of the Ministry of Health of the Chahar Military Region.

On August 20th 1949, the school was renamed as Chahar Medical College (junior college level), which was under the leadership of the Health Bureau of Chahar Province.

195 1 In June, the school was moved from Dongshanpo, Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City to No.43, Guhongmiao Street, qiaoxi district, and moved to Changqing Road 1 1 in the second half of the same year. In the same year, the provincial government allocated the newly-built midwifery school building to the medical college of Chahar Province.

1952165438+10 In October, Chahar Medical College merged with Beijing Medical College, which was directly under the Central Ministry of Health and moved from Beijing, and was renamed North China Medical College.

1953 changed its name to Zhangjiakou Medical School in July, and it was under the leadership of North China Administrative Committee.

1In the summer of 954, the North China Administrative Committee was revoked, and the school was placed under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province and renamed Zhangjiakou Medical College in Hebei Province.

In July 1958, the school was renamed as Zhangjiakou Medical College, which was under the leadership of Zhangjiakou City.

1958 The municipal government included No.62 Xuanhua Avenue in the school as the second department of Zhangjiakou Medical College. On August 3rd, Kloc-0, 65438, 0959, Hebei Provincial Health Department informed that "Zhangjiakou Medical College" was changed to "Zhangjiakou Medical College".

1970 ended, and Zhangjiakou Teachers College resumed enrollment. Zhangjiakou Agricultural College Zhangjiakou Agricultural College, formerly known as Chahar Industrial School, was founded in 1923 with the contribution of Mr. Zhang Lisheng.

1929 upgraded to "Chahar Provincial Agricultural College", located in Tuergou New Village, Dongshan Slope, Zhangjiakou City.

1934, the school was renamed as "Zhangbei Animal Husbandry Vocational School in Chahar Province", and the school site is outside the south gate of Zhangbei County.

1August, 937, the school was closed due to the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

August 1947, school resumed.

1April, 948, the school was moved from Zhangbei County to Zhangjiakou City due to the war, temporarily stationed at No.5 Dongdong Street in Shandong Province, and then moved to No.44 Guhongmiao Street.

1948 65438+On February 24th, Zhangjiakou City was liberated, and the school was first taken over by the Military Management Committee and then led by the Education Department of Chahar Province.

1949, the name of the school was changed to "Zhangjiakou Agricultural School in Chahar Province".

1953 65438+February, in order to implement the national department adjustment plan, the school was renamed as "Zhangjiakou Animal Husbandry and Veterinary School", and a secondary agricultural technical school focusing on animal husbandry and veterinary was initially established.

On July 1958, the school was upgraded to "Zhangjiakou Agricultural College".

1959 10 with the approval of Hebei provincial party Committee, the school was renamed "Zhangjiakou Agricultural College", and its subordinate relationship was entrusted by the provincial government, under the dual leadership of the Higher Education Department and the Agriculture Department.

1966 after the "cultural revolution" began, the school was severely damaged and stopped enrolling students for five years. 1971February, the school was renamed "Zhangjiakou Agricultural College".

1978165438+10, the school was renamed "Zhangjiakou Agricultural College", and the land reform office became the director of the Provincial Higher Education Bureau.

/kloc-0 was renamed as "Zhangjiakou Agricultural College" in April, 1992.

Merge and establish schools

In May 2002, the provincial government decided to merge three universities in Zhangjiakou into one university, and held a special meeting. After the meeting, the procedures for reporting to the Ministry of Education were fulfilled.

Experts from the Ministry of Education made an on-the-spot investigation on June 5438+065438+ 10, 2002, and the opinion was that it was necessary to merge the three schools, because the medical schools did not have the right to confer master's degrees, and the merged schools could not be called universities.

In May 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Zhangjiakou Medical College, Zhangjiakou Normal College and Zhangjiakou Agricultural College merged to form Hebei North College.

It has complete modern teaching facilities, advanced campus network, experimental center, provincial experimental teaching demonstration center and basic laboratories of various disciplines.
