State Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college organized by Zhangzhou Municipal People's Government, approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a national model higher vocational college.
The college was formerly known as Zhangzhou College founded by 1984, and later renamed Zhangzhou Vocational College. In April 2002, with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government, it was renamed Zhangzhou Vocational and Technical College.
The school has continuously broadened the channels for running schools, and has carried out substantive cooperation with relevant technical and vocational colleges and trade associations in Canada, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan Province Province of China in the aspects of joint running schools, teacher training, advanced educational concepts, management concepts, courses and the introduction of vocational qualification standards, and has taken the lead in establishing Daimler Benz Star Casting Education Project in the whole province to further enhance its ability to run schools.
Zhangzhou Institute of Science and Technology is located in Tianfu Cultural Industrial Park, a characteristic town of Pantuo tea culture in Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, adjacent to National Highway 324 (Xiamen-Shenzhen High-speed Railway Zhangpu Station). It is a non-profit higher vocational college founded in 2007 by famous Taiwanese businessmen, world tea king, Ren Tian Group and Tianfu Group.
The campus covers an area of 1.550 mu, and the school building area is 260,000 square meters. The school has 6 secondary colleges, 38 majors, 10000 teachers and students, and has a strong faculty. It is the first higher vocational college with the qualification to recruit foreign students and students from Taiwan Province Province.
In the past three years, the employment rate of school graduates has reached over 90% for the first time, and accurate employment has been successfully achieved. Since its establishment, the school has delivered tens of thousands of high-quality and high-skilled applied talents to the society and made great contributions to the economic and social development of the country and Haixi Prefecture.
Conditions for running a school:
It has a comprehensive training laboratory building, a smart business training center, a collaborative innovation center for tea industry, a modern smart library, a smart student restaurant, a standard indoor gymnasium, a tertiary general hospital, a youth football training base, a hot spring swimming pool, a planned primary and secondary school, a kindergarten and other cultural industrial parks. The study and living facilities are complete, the campus is picturesque and the environment is beautiful. It is called "Garden University" and is used for study.
