Wuxi New District Library takes the lead in fully applying this core architectural principle to the place where it is built. About 26,000 kinds of paper books, 300 kinds of paper periodicals, 100 kinds of paper newspapers and a large number of digital resources have been built. "Combination of Library Service and Community Service" In order to keep up with the high pace of the new district, the new district library not only provides services for readers in the library building entity, but also carries out public culture into community services in combination with cultural stations and libraries in various street communities in the new district, building a unified library automation system for all community libraries in the new district and pushing digital resources to the community free of charge. Combined with the actual situation of the community, activities such as "public culture entering the nursing home (welfare home)" and "public culture entering the home" were carried out. By providing advanced e-books and other equipment, it is solved that the elderly, the disabled and other people in the community can get home-delivered cultural services. To this end, the new district library purchased 60 electronic paper books for community service.

The library of "combining citizen service with enterprise service" not only serves the citizens in this area, but also serves the local enterprises. The new district library has set up a 15 high-speed VPN line to provide customers with the same professional digital resources services as the new district library. Focusing on the work direction of enterprise scientific research and market, the new library has built resources including academic journals, economic databases, national statistical data, laws and regulations databases, reference books databases and so on. In order to meet the requirements of enterprises to improve employees' professional skills, the new library has newly entered the platform of distance higher vocational education of Higher Education Press of the Ministry of Education, and various national vocational qualification examinations, civil service examinations and other examination question banks to facilitate readers to conduct self-study and self-test at home and at work.
