Electronic and networked services are the development direction of libraries in 2 1 century. 1September 1997, our library began to implement computer management for three subsystems: procurement, cataloging and circulation. In June 2002, the integrated book management system was upgraded to Nanjing Huiwen Libsys2000 software system, which realized the computer management of the whole library's business work and built a networked library with modern management methods, standardized management processes, digital information transmission and diversified information services. The library has 8 servers and 8 backbone switches, built a large-scale digital resource storage system of 1.4 TB, built an electronic reading room of 1.6 seats, and a library LAN covered by wireless network and connected to the campus network, which enriched electronic resources, expanded service functions and provided more practical and powerful support for the improvement of school-running strength.
