Information Theory and Practice is an international academic journal sponsored by Korea Information Society. Founded on 20 13, it is currently published by Korea Institute of Science and Technology. The magazine focuses on information science, including academic research in information science theory, information technology, information service and knowledge management.
The magazine is published four times a year in English. The article covers all aspects of information science and is an important international academic journal in this field. Definition of journal c:
"Journal C" refers to the sci-tech journal included in Citation Report of China Sci-tech Journals (hereinafter referred to as CSTPCD), which is a high-grade Chinese sci-tech journal evaluated by China Institute of Sci-tech Information (hereinafter referred to as "SINOSURE").
CSTPCD is a periodical citation database compiled by China Sci-tech Periodical Data Resource Center, which includes five grades: A, B, C, D and E, among which Class C is a relatively high grade and is recognized as an excellent Chinese sci-tech periodical.
The selection criteria of Journal C include academic level, manuscript quality, peer review efficiency, international influence and other factors, which is one of the important criteria to measure the academic quality of journals. CSTPCD is updated every year, and the C-level evaluation standard of journals will be adjusted.
