President Zheng Naiji said that in the future, the new campus will focus on the development of talents urgently needed by Quanzhou industrial and mining enterprises, such as numerical control, machinery, clothing and construction, while the old campus will only retain several majors such as commerce, tourism and leisure that are suitable for urban life and low-carbon economy.

Every year, 400 or 500 students with learning ability will be sent to joint colleges for further study or study abroad. For the poor students' dream of studying and finding jobs, more than 100 poor students with excellent academic performance are sponsored to study for free every year.
The school implements one-stop service of enrollment, teaching, going to college and recommending employment. Since 2004, the number of students enrolled has been among the best in Fujian Province for ten consecutive years. Graduates are very popular with employers and the employment rate is as high as 95%.
