2. Zhongshan Scenic Area: Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Purple Mountain, Ming Mausoleum, Linggu Temple and Nanbo are the scenic spots on the route. This route consumes a lot of energy, so I suggest going to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Mausoleum, Linggu Temple, or Sun Yat-sen Botanical Garden. Anyway, just choose one or two scenic spots to play. If you still have the strength, you can go to Nanbo, or go to Xuanwu Lake in Taicheng along the emergency door. There is no suitable catering in the scenic spot, so it is recommended to prepare more water and snacks.
3. Confucius Temple and its surrounding attractions: mainly Confucius Temple, Zhanyuan, Bailuzhou Park, Jiangnan Gongyuan, Chaotian Palace (Nanjing Museum) and Ganfu (Nanjing Folk Museum, which introduces the customs of old Nanjing in detail). If time permits, you can spend a day visiting all the surrounding scenic spots, and then go to the Confucius Temple to see the night scene in the evening and take a boat.
4. Around the Drum Tower: Presidential Palace, Xuanwu Lake, Jiming Temple, Nanjing Library, Nanjing University Headquarters, Southeast University Headquarters, Nanjing Normal University Headquarters and Nanjing pioneer bookstore. You can go to the presidential palace in the morning, and then enter Xuanwu Lake from Xuanwu Gate after coming out of the presidential palace. Come out of Jiefangmen, Jiming Temple is next to it. Southeast University is in front of Jiming Temple, and Nanda is on the road. It takes about ten minutes to walk from Southeast University. Nanjing Normal University is a little far away, and the starting price of a taxi is about there.
It is recommended to eat around Hunan Road, Xinjiekou area and Confucius Temple area. There are many delicious foods in these places, such as Yadebao's duck blood vermicelli, Xuyi crayfish, osmanthus duck, beef pot stickers and Lianhu pastry shop. If you especially like architecture in the Republic of China, you can also go to Yihe Road and Xikang Road, where there are still many villas in the Republic of China. I don't think it's open yet.
