He used to be the general branch secretary of the information management department, the deputy director of the information management department and the deputy director of the academic affairs office. At present, he is the director of Sichuan University Archives and the director of the School History Office, a professor at the School of Management, a member of the Steering Committee of Library Science in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the vice chairman of the Archives Branch of China Higher Education Society, the vice chairman of the School History Research Branch of China Higher Education Society, the chairman of Sichuan Higher Education Archives Association, the vice chairman of Sichuan Literature Imaging Technology Association, and the deputy secretary general of Sichuan Social Science Information Society.
