Ningxia Medical University is located in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The school's predecessor was Ningxia Medical College, which was founded in 1958. 1962 was renamed Ningxia university medical department. From 65438 to 0972, Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan, merged with the Medical Department of Ningxia University, and rebuilt Ningxia Medical College.
