Second, Peking University Library Collection Lending System
1. Readers can borrow 5-30 books with campus cards and library cards. Generally, the borrowing period of books is one month, which can be renewed for three times (see the borrowing table for details). If there are special regulations published in each lending office or reading room, they shall be implemented according to the regulations of each place and room.
2. If all the loanable books of a book have been lent out, readers can directly make a reservation request online.
3. If the books borrowed by readers have expired and still need to be used, you can renew them online on your own if the books have not been reserved by other readers and the right to borrow books has not been stopped for other reasons.
If you have any questions about borrowing books, you can ask for help at every information desk and book borrowing and returning office.
5. Books are out of date, lost or damaged. , according to the "Peking University library for readers to borrow expired, lost and damaged books and periodicals regulations".
6. Readers can read books and periodicals in the reading room with campus card, library card or reading card.
7. Readers are not allowed to take books and periodicals out of the reading room without going through the borrowing formalities, otherwise they will be treated as stealing books and periodicals.
8. Open-shelf books and periodicals in the reading room should be read on demand. Please put them in the designated place according to the regulations of the reading room after reading.
9. Readers must abide by the "Instructions for Library Entry in Peking University" and maintain a civilized reading environment.
Three, Peking University Library off-campus readers reception measures.
1. When off-campus readers come to our library to find information, they must hold (1) their second-generation ID card, (2) their valid documents (work permit or student ID card) or a letter of introduction from the company, and exchange them for the Peking University Library Temporary Lending Card at the main information desk on the first floor of the east gate of the library. According to the specified time, you can consult books and periodicals in the reading room and reading area of our library with this card.
2, off-campus readers in the library to find books or search the database, must abide by the library lending system, if necessary, pay the service fee according to the standard.
3. Off-campus readers are only allowed to read and copy the required books and periodicals in the library. Please take good care of books and periodicals when reading. If there is any damage, compensation will be required according to the regulations.
4. When writing letters, inquiring books and periodicals, copying materials or asking for answers outside the school, you should provide clear and accurate information or clues as much as possible to facilitate the search. Our library will reply according to the retrieval situation, and charge the necessary service fee and copying fee.
5. Anyone who has a cooperative research project with our school and has a senior title and needs to find information in our school library can apply for a library card at the card office according to the Measures for the Administration of Library Cards and Reading Cards of Peking University Library.
6, off-campus readers must abide by the rules and regulations of the library, if there is a violation, depending on the seriousness of the case, according to the relevant provisions. If necessary, the right to borrow books can be suspended or cancelled, and the service fee will not be refunded.
7, off-campus personnel to visit the library, must contact the curator's office in advance, with the consent of the curator's office, can visit the library within the specified time.
