The reason why the library can't bring drinks is because it is afraid that some borrowed books will be accidentally knocked over and wet after bringing drinks in. If books are not so precious, maybe they are nothing. But if books are precious, it will be very troublesome. So the library simply doesn't allow drinks to come in and put an end to this problem.
