The new Guangzhou Library is located in flower city square, near the Pearl River, where the new central axis of Guangzhou city meets the landscape axis of the Pearl River. Flower city square is an "urban living room" built by Guangzhou Municipal Government, and Guangzhou Library is the cultural window of this "urban living room". The new museum takes "beautiful books" as its design concept, relies on the new central axis landscape of the city, and adopts the unique and elegant graphics of east-west trend, north-south towers and the word "Z", which highlights the sense of architectural hierarchy, implies the overlapping of books and the deposition of history and culture, and incorporates cultural elements such as arcades, thus embodying the artistic characteristics of Lingnan architecture.
