Xianyang Palace was originally located in the north platform of Xianyang City, Qin Dou. In the process of Qin Shihuang's unification of the six countries, it continued to expand. According to records, the palace was "built for Beiling" and was the place where Qin Shihuang was in power and "listened to things".
At the end of Qin Dynasty, Xiang Yu entered Xianyang and set fire to the city. Most of Xianyang Palace is in ruins.
According to archaeological experts, the whole Guanzhong area is the capital city. Xianyang Palace West Road goes to Epang Palace, then to Zhong Nanshan to build a gate, and East Road goes to Jimiao (Xin Palace) to set up a pavilion road, just like the whole air corridor, which is planned according to the astrology. The Qinling Mountains in the south, the northern mountain system north of Longshan in the west, and the Yellow River as the external wall in the east. The Qin Dynasty built more than 300 branches in Guanzhong area, which were connected by various roads, including many roads, tunnels and pavilions. Archaeologists infer that the total area of Xianyang Palace in a broad sense may be nearly 100 times that of Chang 'an City in Han Dynasty and more than 2,000 times that of the Forbidden City.
