What is a publication business license?

Publishing business license, also known as book business license, refers to the administrative license that enterprises engaged in wholesale or retail business such as newspapers, periodicals, books and electronic publications need to apply for.

The Publication Business License is divided into "publication wholesale" and "publication retail". The two types of license plates are mainly different in business scope. "Publication wholesale" can do retail and wholesale business, and "publication retail" can only do retail business, not wholesale business.

The following enterprises need to apply for a publication business license:

Retail wholesalers engaged in newspapers, audio-visual products, periodicals, books and electronic publications need to apply for a publication business license for general distribution, rental and exhibition.

Conditions for handling the Publishing Business License:

1, with a definite enterprise name and business scope;

2. Having an organization and distributors suitable for the publishing business;

3. Having equipment and a fixed business place suitable for the publication wholesale business;

4. Having proper registered capital;

5. It has not been punished by the administrative department of press and publication in the last three years, and has no other serious illegal records;

6. Other conditions stipulated by laws, administrative regulations and the State Publishing Bureau;

7. There are relevant personnel engaged in this business.

Enterprise processing flow:

1, familiar with processing including enterprise basic data and professional report data;

2. Arrange and fill in the materials required for licensing qualification;

3. Submit the license application materials to the examination and approval department;

4, the provincial press, publication, radio and television bureau audit;

5. Not approve or return the modification (note: resubmit the materials);

6. Give recognition;

7. Make an appointment to get a license certificate.
